Autism Career and Life Coaching for Adults
Autism Career and Life Coaching for Adults
Navigating life as an autistic adult can bring both unique strengths and challenges. You may be highly focused, analytical, creative or deeply committed to the things that matter to you, while also finding social expectations, sensory demands, change or the pace of modern life exhausting.
Perhaps you’re feeling misunderstood, masking to fit in, experiencing autistic burnout, struggling to balance your own needs with the expectations of others, or questioning whether the way you’re living and working truly reflects who you are.
As a career and life coach with a neurodiversity-affirming approach, I support autistic adults to better understand themselves, recognise their strengths, navigate challenges and create a life that feels true to who they are. This may include work, relationships, confidence, boundaries, self-advocacy and navigating everyday life in a world that isn’t always designed with neurodivergent people in mind.
Understanding Autism and Your Individual Experience
Autism is a different way of experiencing and interacting with the world, not something that needs fixing.
Many of the difficulties autistic people face arise because workplaces are often designed around neurotypical expectations, rather than recognising and valuing different ways of thinking, communicating and working.
Together, we’ll explore what works for you, identify barriers that may be holding you back and develop practical strategies that support both your career and your wellbeing.
How Autism Coaching Can Support You
Every coaching session focuses on the areas where you need support or would like to develop new approaches. Together, we may explore practical strategies to help you:
- Understanding your strengths and preferred ways of working
- Navigating workplace communication, relationships and expectations
- Building confidence in your abilities and recognising your value
- Managing stress, energy levels and reducing the risk of autistic burnout
- Career planning, progression and exploring new possibilities
- Returning to work after a period away
- Considering career change or finding a role that is a better fit
- Preparing for interviews, applications or new roles
- Understanding workplace adjustments and advocating for your needs
- Creating a working life that feels sustainable and true to who you are
Rather than encouraging you to mask or adapt yourself to fit into environments that may not recognise your needs, coaching focuses on helping you understand yourself, use your strengths and find practical approaches that support both your work and wellbeing.
My Approach
My coaching is collaborative, solutions-focused and practical. I believe that meaningful change comes from understanding yourself, recognising your strengths and finding ways of working and living that align with your needs and values.
Together, we’ll create practical strategies to help you navigate challenges with greater confidence, clarity and self-awareness.
My sessions provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can reflect, explore your options and find approaches that work for you, whether that relates to work, everyday life or personal goals.
